Who is responsible
Moss Games (Toulouse, France) is responsible for the personal data collected on www.mossgames.fr. For any question or request about your data, write to contact@mossgames.fr.
Newsletter
If you sign up for the newsletter, we collect your email address and the date you signed up. It is used only to send you news about our games and studio, and is never sold or shared for advertising.
Legal basis: your consent (GDPR art. 6.1.a). You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link included in every email, or by writing to us.
Your address is kept until you unsubscribe, then deleted. It is stored in a database hosted by Neon (servers in Frankfurt, Germany) and emails are sent through Resend (Resend Inc., United States).
Contacting us
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and keep them no longer than needed to follow up on your request.
Cookies
This website uses a single cookie, "moss_locale", which remembers the language you picked (English or French) for one year. It is strictly necessary for that feature, so it does not require consent.
We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
Audience statistics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It uses no cookies and does not identify you: visits are only counted in aggregate, and no personal data is stored.
Like any web host, Vercel keeps technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for a short time for security and to keep the site running.
Embedded content
Game pages can include YouTube trailers, loaded through YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube (Google) only receives data about you once you play a video. Links to Steam, Discord or Instagram take you to those sites, which have their own privacy policies.
Transfers outside the EU
Some of our providers (Vercel, Resend) are based in the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to data portability. To use them, write to contact@mossgames.fr. If you think your rights are not respected, you can file a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French data protection authority.
