You start your day. Again, in your good old office in the less traveled parts of the building, you find the summum of the current technology: a fully functional super-frame computer directly linked to the cosmos. Time to work !
Maintain stability of your trustee little satellite (it's name is LISA !), and if you're skilled and lucky enough, you may get a clear reading so you can identify the nature of the monstruous black hole merger it just witnessed.
This work is based on the ongoing PhD of Adrien Cogez, who is currently writing on the detection of massive merge events (of black holes or close white dwarves) using a trio of satellites separated by millions of kilometres monitoring their respective perturbations to the nanometre.
